Metcalfe County Resource Fair, June 2026!

We are proud to say that our first BRIGHT community event was a success! From start to finish, the energy, support, and turnout exceeded all expectations. We were able to welcome over 150 attendees, host 28 vendor tables, and create an experience filled with connection, community, and support for local resources. Congrats to Substance Use Disorder for winning the "GOAT" (Greatest Of All Tables) trophy!

BRIGHT Community Pantry in Butler County!

We are excited to share that the BRIGHT Community Pantry in Butler County is stocked and ready to serve the community! This initiative was made possible through a partnership between the Barren River District Health Department and Barren River Area Development District, with support from the BRIGHT Coalition.

The pantry is located at the Butler County Health Department/Butler County Senior Center, just outside the health department main entrance, and is accessible 24/7.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible and support increased access for Butler County residents!

Interested in donating or cleaning out your pantry? We are currently accepting donations at all Barren River District Health Department and BRADD locations. Please refer to the flyer for suggested items and donation guidelines.
